DK: Search Engine Optimisation for Sydney's small businesses starting with SEO audit is our core business. We have a wealth of knowledge in most areas of internet marketing covering most web marketing support and SEM services. Like solicitors, if we don’t know something ourselves, we will refer our clients to subject matter experts, but more often then not, we will work in cooperation with subject matter experts so that our clients can concentrate on their core business, allowing us to be their internet marketing division.

DK: We mainly work with Australian clients but we also work with clients in New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
CEO-watch: Who are Top Search Engine Rankings’ customers?
DK: We service a variety of customers and market segments ranging from companies to provide: Window Tinting, Traffic Management Services, Home Builders, Furniture Stores, Accommodation providers, Garden suppliers, Mining Industry, Kitchen Manufactures, Clothing Companies, Debt Collection Services, Rubbish Removal, Cleaning Product Suppliers, Car Part Suppliers, Pest Control as well as Advertising Agencies who want to sell what we do as a white label service.
CEO-watch: When did you get your first website online?
DK: We have operated for several years without a website, mainly because our happy clients kept referring more clients for us to service, and we really did not need a website while that was happening. That's when we finally met with the team at SEO Samba, we could see their SEO technology matched our methodology quite nicely, so happily hired them to become SEO software technology partners, leaving us to do what we do best – get massive results for our clients
CEO-watch: How important is your website to generate sales leads?
DK: We see our website as becoming equally important for generating sales leads as our current client referral rates. Creating a new lead funnel from our website will only result in more client referrals based on our success rate so far. We have only ever lost one client in the space of three years – no because they were not happy with what we did (they were ranked #1 for most keyword phrases for close to 1 year) – one of their family members talked them into using who they were using.

DK: My “Dallas Kelso” day to day role is like a strategic consultant to businesses who need a solid internet marketing system.
CEO-watch: How did you arrive at Top Search Engine Rankings?
DK: We chose this name after surveying many non internet marketing people and asked them if they were wanting to hire someone to help get their website up to the top of the search engine results pages, what service would they be looking for – most people gave us a similar answer to the words Top Search Engine Rankings
CEO-watch: Did you work at any other companies before Top Search Engine Rankings, and what was you role at these firms?
DK: I have worked in IT since leaving school. My roles have varied from operating large IBM Mainframe computers, Systems support, People Management, Project Management, Consulting and various other “sensitive projects”. I have worked at companies like Westpac, GIO, CSC and IBM
CEO-watch: What previous personal experience has best helped you deal with the challenges at Top Search Engine Rankings?
DK: Being trained in Issue Based Consulting and technical organizational change – I relate to businesses quite well. I have trained with Bruce Clay, StomperNet and completed various high level industry training courses.
CEO-watch: What drove you into this line of business?
DK: Quite frankly, I am very passionate about the internet and internet marketing. I love what I do
CEO-watch: What is your biggest challenge at Top Search Engine Rankings? And how do you attempt to surpass it?
DK: At the moment, our biggest challenge is keeping on top of our ever growing new work.
